Following a long career with Lockheed Aeronautical Systems Corporation and a critical time raising two sons; in 2016, Kerri Burk purchased The Cob Collection (www.thecobcollection), an interior design and home renovation business. The Cob Collection has been in business over 25 years and is 100% woman-owned with day-to-day operations under Kerri’s leadership.  Kerri is responsible for sales and marketing, concept and detailed designs, purchasing, and installation. The Cob Collection contracts with specialty contractors for the delivery of craft work and suppliers providing products to customers. Throughout Kerri’s career, she has managed over $6 million in design and renovation projects and has a proven track record as a ‘hands-on” business leader in architecture and construction.

In addition to her 100% ownership of The Cob Collection, in 2021, Kerri purchased a significant ownership interest in Allen Architectural Metals (“AAM”). Since January 2021, Kerri Burk and Kate Allen own 100% of the Company and have worked together to grow the business. Kate Allen has unique and deep experiences in the industry and has established herself in the industry as expert in the field of historical preservation and conservation. On the other hand, Kerri compliments the organization by bringing marketing and sales expertise which includes strategic positioning, product development, and overall business acumen. Each has qualifications to run the day-to-day operations and make all critical decisions regarding personnel, client engagement, fabrication, and quality assurance. AAM is an established company and enjoys a solid reputation for quality work. AAM has more than doubled the size of the company revenues since Kerri Burk and Kate Allen have acquired the company. Since the acquisition of AAM, Kerri has devoted the majority of her time to AAM.

The passion for the business is underscored by both shareholders through their respective career experiences and significant personal capital commitment.
